In a busy salon, we all know that communication is key. Whether you’re a receptionist trying to communicate an issue with a specific client or appointment, a salon owner or manager looking to address the team, or a stylist who needs to alert reception, there are multiple ways to get your message across.
Here are some great ways to communicate with your team internally on the Rosy platform:
In-House Notifications
Salon Owners & Managers: Now you can send quick notifications to your staff any time you’d like. Notifications can come from you or your team and can be sent to specific team members as desired. Imagine sending a quick greeting, messaging about a weather delay, or even a reminder for the team meeting.
Receptionists & Stylists: While busy checking clients in and out, ever wish you could send a quick message to a service provider? Stylists, ever need to communicate with reception but have no time to pick up the phone or walk up front? In-House Notifications are an excellent way for you to communicate to your team directly in your account!
Here’s how: Navigate to the bell at the top of your page to view all current and past notifications for your business.
Once you send your message, your notification will immediately show up! And, if you receive a notification and would like to reply to it, just click the arrow to the right of the message and send your reply.
Client & Appointment Notes
Notes are used to enhance the client’s experience and communicate internal information to keep the salon/spa running smoothly. There are two types of notes: Client Notes and Appointment Notes.
Client Notes will pop up on any screen you checkmark it for, including for a new appointment being scheduled, checking in or out the client, or whenever the client profile is viewed.
Here’s how it works:
Appointment Notes
If you’re looking to communicate an in-house alert for a specific appointment and/or tickets, Appointment Notes are the way to go. Appointment Notes are only displayed when viewing a client’s single appointment and do not pop up.
Here’s how to create an Appointment Note:
