The challenges of 2020 made Mark Garrison and his management team rethink certain aspects of their salon workflow. With safety, comfort, and efficiency in mind, they completely reinvented the client experience from how they check-in all the way through check out and beyond.

Earlier this year, the namesake salon made a bold move and chose to go desk-less. Today, they use Curbside Check-in. A receptionist buzzes clients into the building and greets them as soon as they step off the elevator on the second floor. Every receptionist is mobile and is armed with a headset and iPad to welcome and check-in guests, notifying the stylist of the client’s arrival. And with card-on-file options for their payment processing, and the ability to reserve products or purchase them online, clients have the opportunity for a completely contactless checkout.
